­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Acrylic Fabric

These fabrics are a manmade polymer fiber which is light weight, soft to the touch, and look like natural cloth fabrics making its appearance look warm and inviting on any home or business. These fabrics repel water and are color fast because color is added in the begin stage of making the threads that are then woven into fabric. Each brand has its own added properties making them unique to the industry of shade fabrics.

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Laminated Fabrics

These fabrics consist of two or more layers of polymer film (vinyl) being adhered to a scrim using heat and pressure. Laminated fabrics have a uniform and strong bond because of this process. These fabrics are light weight, dimensional stable, waterproof and has a superior performance when it comes to less maintenance. Each brand has its own added properties making them unique to the industry of shade fabrics.

Coated Fabrics

These fabrics are woven or non-woven cloth with a specialized coating that is applied to the surface of the material. The coating is usually a polymer that imparts properties, such as resistance to water, mildew or sunlight. These fabrics can be heavier and less flexible with good abrasion resistance. Each brand has its own added properties making them unique to the industry of shade fabrics.

Coated Mesh

These fabrics consist of a center core (polyester scrim) and a outside coating of vinyl (PVC) which is applied and is heat cured. These fabrics can be a loose weave (More openness) or a tight weave (Less Openness) which can be used in different application that best suits the project. Each brand has its own added properties making them unique to the industry of shade fabrics.
